Six departures and six arrivals are taking place on Wednesday, second day of the reopening of Larnaca Airport, closed since 21st March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The six departures are Budapest, Bucharest, Athens, Sofia, Cairo and Luton. Arrivals are scheduled from Athens (two flights), Bucharest, Budapest, Sofia and Luton.

All Bucharest and Cairo flights are repatriations.

Only passengers and staff are allowed inside Larnaca Airport to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.

The protection measures for COVID-19 implemented at the airport include the mandatory use of a medical protective face mask throughout the passengers’ stay at the terminal building.

Clearly visible signs remind passengers to keep a safe distance. Airport authorities have also increased the frequency of cleaning and installed more than 50 hand sanitizers which are available for use by passengers and staff.
