A total number of 120,248 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in November 2024 compared to 117,487 in the corresponding month last year, recording an increase of 2.4%. The main countries from which residents of Cyprus returned in November 2024 were Greece with a share of 32.6% (39,194), the United Kingdom with 11.7% (14,128) and Italy with 6.3% (7,549).
The purpose of travel for the residents of Cyprus in November 2024 was mainly holidays, with a percentage of 61.7%, whilst business reasons held a percentage of 36%, studies 0.7% and other reasons 1.7%.
