Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides will visit on Tuesday afternoon the USS Indiana submarine which is in Limassol for a New Year port call.
US Ambassador to Cyprus, Julie Fisher, in a post on “X”,welcomed to Limassol the officers and crew of the USS Indiana, noting that this nuclear-powered submarine is in Cyprus for a liberty and New Year port call.
“Named after the state of Indiana, its insignia honors Indiana’s racing heritage with the famous finish line racing flag”, she noted.
