European Investment Bank President (EIB) Werner Hoyer will pay a one-day official visit to Cyprus.
During the visit he will sign an agreement with Cooperative Central Bank for a loan amounting to 25 million Euros aiming at financing small and medium size enterprises.
The Ministry of Finance announced that Hoyer, will visit Cyprus on 3 April 2014.
During his visit, Hoyer will hold meetings with the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism and other state officials.
The Finance Minister’s meeting with EIB President will take place at 11.45 a.m., at the Minister’s office. At 12.30 p.m., the President of the EIB will hold a press conference, in the presence of the Minister of Finance, during which he will present the results and activities of the Bank for 2013.
The signing of the loan and guarantee agreements for the granting of a €25 million loan to the Cooperative Central Bank for the financing of small and medium size enterprises, will follow the presentation.
