Greek gas reserves in seas estimated at 680 Billion cubic meters

Greece has a potential bonanza of energy in the seas with estimates of gas reserves that could be as much as 24 trillion cubic feet (680 billion cubic meters) that would be enough to meet demands for years.

That was the finding of The Greek Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources Management Company (HEREMA) based on preliminary data about offshore blocks near Crete and in the Ionian Sea about hydrocarbons, said To Vima.
