Worldwide achievement for PwC trainee in the recent ICAEW examinations

Marina Vakana, trainee accountant of PwC Cyprus, achieved the “First Place and the Little Prize” in the Taxation paper, in the recent examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
Marina is a graduate of the Department of Public and Business Administration of the University of Cyprus. She joined PwC in October 2011 and she is currently working for Assurance & Advisory Services in Limassol.
Mr Evgenios Evgeniou, CEO of PwC Cyprus and Mr Philippos Soseilos, Head of Human Capital, congratulated Marina for her outstanding achievement and awarded her with a recognition plaque during a simple ceremony organised to honour her accomplishment.
During the ceremony, Mr Evgeniou praised her performance and noted that “We acknowledge that our ability to offer our clients the professionalism and value they are looking for depends on our people, their knowledge, experience and expertise. We make significant investments in attracting and developing our Human Capital and this is recognised through such awards and achievements.
