In today’s issue, the T/C newspaper “Volkan” referred to the cooperation between Easy Jet and Pegasus, which “opens the Turkish airports to the G/C since the owner of Easy Jet is the Cypriot Stelios Hadjiioannou”.
According to the report, Easy Jet will transfer tourists from the United Kingdom to Turkey and Pegasus will transfer the tourists from Turkey to the occupied north. It is noted that “the ticket will be cheaper by 100 sterling and this means that the ‘T/C airlines’ will not be able to survive”.

Invited by StockWatch to comment on the latest report, CTO Chairman, Fotis Fotiou said that he doesn’t see any difference. “The tourists already visit the T/C areas via Turkey. What do they mean when saying that Turkey opens its airports to the G/C?”
“This ‘agreement’ is expected to affect the Turkish and not us”, Mr. Fotiou concluded.
