At 9.00 am, SEK General Secretary, Nicos Moiseos and PASYDY General Secretary, Glafkos Hadipetrou had a 2-hour meeting with DISY President, Nicos Anastasiades.
In his statements after the meeting, Mr. Moiseos said that “the trade unions’ intention is to end up with the most painless measures for the support of the economy on the basis of the new governmental proposals for the fiscal consolidation and the improvement of the pension system in the public sector”.
“Based on the proposals on the pension system, as analyzed by the Finance Minister yesterday, the talks with all parties will continue, expressing their concerns on the measures that must be taken due to this sensitive period”, he said.
