Tourist revenues fall by 11.72%

Tourist revenues for the period between January and November 2002 fell by 11.72%, reaching CYP 1.1 billion (CYP 1,096,738,676) against CYP 1.2 billion (CYP 1,242,405,132) of the same period in 2001.

Nevertheless, according to CYSTAT data, revenues for November 2002 increased by 5.36% amounting to CYP 51,408,582 compared to CYP 48,791,595 of November 2001.

Meanwhile, tourist arrivals for November 2002 reached 111,327 against 107,454 in 2001 (+3.6%), while tourist arrivals between January and November 2002 stood at 2,340,414 against 2,621,845 (-10.73%) in 2001.
