Tourist revenues continue downward trend

According to CYSTAT data released on Thursday, total tourist revenues in January 2005 dropped 5% to £20.7 million against £21.8 million in the corresponding month of 2004. It is noted that total tourist arrivals showed an increase of 4.2% to 58.9 thousand against 56.5 thousand in the corresponding month of 2004.

In 2004, total tourist revenues dropped 3.2% and arrivals surged 2%.
