Deputy Minister of Tourism Kostas Koumis departs on Wednesday for Poland, to have meetings with tourism stakeholders.
According to a press release from the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Koumis has scheduled meetings with heads of tour operators with travel programmes to Cyprus.
During the meetings, discussions are expected to focus on current developments concerning the Polish market, as well as the reinforcement of the presence of these organisations in Cyprus.
Arrivals form Poland to Cyprus up to the end of October 2023, exceeded 240,000 compared to 164,000 arrivals recorded in the corresponding period last year.
In total, 3.5 tourist million arrivals to Cyprus were recorded in the first ten months of the year, marking a 21.1% increase on an annual basis. Revenues until the end of August show a 25.4% increase, and a new revenue record is expected.
