The strike measures at the Larnaca port have been lifted in view of the meeting at the Transport Ministry tomorrow. Transport Minister, Nicos Nicolaides noted:
“I have called the Leisure Craft Owners Association to attend a meeting at 2.00 pm tomorrow to listen to their requests and to contribute to the settlement and promotion of those requests. The meeting will also be attended by the Chairman of Ports’ Authority and via a productive discussion we will be able to find a way that will give the craft owners the opportunity to improve the services they offer. I believe that it would be proper to lift the strike measures at the port before the launch of the deliberations”. On the other hand, Chairman of the Craft Owners Association stated:
“The Minister asked for our confidence and we showed our good will. Tomorrow we will have talks and the dynamic measures at the Larnaca port will be lifted”.
