Specialized seminar at CIIM Nicosia 5th & 6th December 2012: Learn how successfully to Lead & Manage Change
3/12/2012 13:43
As the pace of change in the economic environment accelerates and as organizations, affected by developments in the external environment (like the current financial crisis) or internal problems are required to introduce change, the ability to manage change successfully needs to be a core competence for organizations.
However, organizations today encounter significant difficulties in both timely recognizing the need for change and successfully leading and managing change, when it is introduced.
This seminar offers to participants the opportunity to expose themselves to the latest thinking and practice in the management of change, and its main objective is to provide them with practical advice and skills in order to enhance their ability to help both themselves and their people to cope effectively with corporate change in conditions that may challenge traditional managerial practices.
The seminar will help participants develop a comprehensive understanding of:
• The factors that influence the success/failure of change management projects
• The dominant models/strategies for introducing and implementing planned organizational change successfully
• How to manage “resistance to change” effectively
• Leadership and change: the significance of leading and managing change in difficult times and the challenge of helping people through corporate change; what do people need to cope successfully with change?
• Becoming prepared for the unexpected; enhancing the adaptive capacity of organizations.
Participants who complete this seminar should be able to apply related knowledge and skills to introduce and manage change successfully in their organizations.
The seminar is designed for Managers, executives, and supervisors of all organizational departments, as well as senior managers.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th of December at CIIM Nicosia. For more information and bookings contact CIIM Executive Education team on 22462246, by e-mail at [email protected] or visit the CIIM website at www.ciim.ac.cy.
