Special forms of tourism and the preferences of German citizens were discussed, among other matters, by Deputy Minister of Tourism, Costas Koumis, and German Ambassador, Anke Schlimm, during a meeting they had on Tuesday at the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
According to a press release from the Deputy Ministry, after welcoming the Ambassador Koumis referred to the close cooperation between Cyprus and Germany and to the considerable and multifaceted efforts developed by Cyprus from time to time to increase the number of visitors from Germany.
Schlimm expressed her high regard for Cyprus and its people, also stressing her admiration for the country's rich tourism product, the press release adds.
It is further noted that special forms of tourism and the preferences of Germans in relation to them were also discussed.
The meeting took place in a very friendly and constructive atmosphere and it was agreed that the communication between the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the German Embassy will continue, the press release concludes.
