During a press conference yesterday, Chairman of Cyprus Airways Haris Loizides announced that despite the events of the 11 September in the USA, the company has managed to achieve a 2.2% increase in overall passenger traffic for 2001 compared to the previous year.
Mr. Loizides also announced special reductions to air fares until the 17 March 2002, whereby the special morning fare to London will be CYP 149.00 and CYP 99.00 for a spouse and children under 12 years old, with afternoon flights reduced to CYP 179.00. A special fare has also been introduced for Athens until the 30 March with return fares of CYP 79.00 without restrictions. Return fares to Budapest and Warsaw will be CYP 79.00.
Extra incentives have also been announced concerning the SunMiles Frequent Fliers Programme.
