Six million euro funding to businesses for solutions to energy challenges

The Research and Innovation Foundation is offering opportunities for funding of a total budget of six million euro to businesses to develop solutions to energy challenges in collaboration with research organizations.

The «CO-DEVELOP- REPowerEU» is offering funding opportunities of 600 thousand euro maximum per project for business collaborations with research organizations, a press release says. 

The CODEVELOP-REPowerEU/1223 is expected to fund collaborative research and development projects to develop technological solutions in the following areas: Climate Change, reduced carbon emissions, Integrating renewable technologies in the energy systems, Solutions and Technologies for reducing costs of technologies, Resilience and security of energy systems, Integration in the Built Environment – new materials, solutions and technologies for buildings, Energy efficiency for the industry, Storage Technologies, Renewable fuels and bioenergy, CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) and CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilisation and Diversify energy supplies, Net-zero-emissions Energy Systems.

The closing date is the 29th of February 2024. Applications can be submitted through the IRIS portal of the Research and Innovation Foundation.
