According to CYSTAT data released on Friday, tourist revenues in September recorded an increase of 5.3% to £141.2 million compared to £134.1 million in the corresponding month of 2003.
This increase, however, could not cover the lost ground for January-September 2004, when total revenues fell 3.2% to £794.5 million against £821.1 million in 2003 despite the increase in tourist arrivals by 2.9%.
