Sales of of commodities produced by industrial units in Cyprus rose to €4.29 billion in 2022 up by 13.7 compared with €3.78 billion in the year before.
According to detailed data published by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat), the sales from local industrial units of some indicative products were halloumi cheese 44,0 thousand tonnes with value €309.1 million, pasteurized milk and fresh cream 59.7 million litres with value €79.2 million, fresh fruit juice 59.9 thousand tonnes with value €40.6 million, prepared meat products €45.3 million.
The sales of fresh bakery and pastry products amounted to €320.3 million, beer 41.7 million litres with value €48.8 million, wines 11.8 million litres with value €36.4 million, whereas the sales of soft drinks were 12.6 million litres with value €17 million.
Sale of bottled mineral water amounted to 189 million litres with value €35.3 million, chemical products €80.2 million, pharmaceutical products and preparations €324.7 million, cement and clinker €140,4 million and ready- mixed concrete 2.9 million cubic metres with value €202 million, Cystat added.
