PwC: Outstanding exam performance of a PwC professional at the recent examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW)

Denis Gulyarenko, a trainee of PwC Cyprus, achieved first place worldwide and the “Little Prize”, in Taxation, in the recent examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). This is the second time that Denis achieves a distinction in ICAEW exams following his first place and the Spicer & Pegler Prize for his performance in the Financial Accounting paper in the December 2009 ACA Professional Stage exams.
Denis joined PwC in September 2009 and he is currently working in Assurance services in Limassol. He holds a BA in International Management from Saint Petersburg State University.
Mr Phidias Pilides , Chief Executive Officer and Mr Constantinos Taliotis, Human Capital Assurance Partner of PwC congratulated Denis for his outstanding achievement and awarded him with a recognition plaque during a simple ceremony to honour his achievement.
During the ceremony, Mr Pilides praised Denis’ second time achievement and noted that “driven by the values and principles of the organisation, PwC supports the development of young professionals through knowledge and experience sharing, continuous training and effective reward schemes.
