Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides will travel to Brussels on Wednesday afternoon to participate in the European Council Summit to be held on 26-27 October, the Presidency announced today.
According to the statement, among the issues that will be discussed during the European Council's meeting are the situation in Ukraine, migration, foreign affairs, with developments in the Middle East taking centre stage, the revision of the Multiannual Financial Framework and the economy.
It is added that in the margins of the European Council, President Christodoulides will also participate in the European People's Party meeting.
The President of the Republic will be accompanied in Brussels by the Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis and the Director of the President's Diplomatic Office Marilena Raouna, the statement concludes.
