President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides is expected to visit Greece on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April, in order to be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the University of Piraeus and to participate in the Delphi Forum.
On Thursday, April 27, Nikos Christodoulides will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Department of International and European Studies of the School of Business and International Studies of the University of Piraeus.
The ceremony will take place at 17:00 (local time) on Thursday, at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus. The ceremony will be addressed by the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Michael E. Sfakianakis. A presentation of the honoured's work (Laudatio) will follow by the Chairman of the Department of International and European Studies, Professor Aristotle Tziabiris.
Subsequently, Nikos Christodoulides will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Department, and the ceremony will conclude with his speech.
On Friday 28 April, Nikos Christodoulides is expected to participate in the annual meeting of the Delphi Economic Forum, which will be held in the town of Delphi from 26 to 29 April. President of the Republic of Cyprus will participate in a panel discussion on world affairs, which will take place on Friday afternoon at 19.00.
