President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades departs for Paris on Monday to take part in the Paris Peace Forum organized by the French Presidency.
A press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic said that Anastasiades will attend dinner hosted by President Emmanuel Macron for the heads of state and government as well as international organisations attending the Forum.
President Anastasiades will take part in the deliberations on 12th November.
The Paris Peace Forum contributes to the momentum launched by President Macron, to reaffirm the importance of multilateralism and collective action. This year’s forum will focus on the same three priorities that made the first forum a success, meaning encouraging international cooperation and collective action for a peaceful world; Approaches including presentations, discussions and progress on innovative, real-world solutions and Ambitions, including enhancing, rethinking or creating new rules, standards and best practices. It will be held at the Grande Halle de la Villette.
President Anastasiades will be accompanied by Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou. He returns home on Friday.
