The Central Bank of Cyprus announces the operation of an e-shop for the on-line sale of numismatic items, at http://eshop.centralbank.gov.cy. This site can also be accessed from the Central Bank of Cyprus’s website (www.centralbank.gov.cy).
According to the announcement, “the purpose of the Central Bank’s e-shop is to facilitate collectors, wherever they may be, to purchase numismatic items easily and securely by using their credit cards. It also provides a regular and complete update of the Central Bank of Cyprus’s numismatic issues. Additionally, this site enables coin dealers to submit their application forms for the purchase of numismatic items in large quantities”.
“This system went live on 12 October 2009, the starting date of the sale of the 2009 Cyprus euro coin set”, it concluded.
