OEB expressed its discontent on the inconveniences that will be caused on Monday to all sectors of economy in the public and private sector from the two-hour work stoppage of the teachers.
In an announcement released today, the Employers’ and Industrialists’ Federation said that the 2-hour strike between 7.30 am and 9.30 am will cause problems to the employees. “All employees must adjust their morning program so that instead of taking their children to school at 7.30 am, they do it at 9.30 am”, it noted.
“This actions is completely ill-advised and has been decided without taking into account the impacts on the other employees”, OEB said.
OEB urged the Association to re-examine its decision so as to avoid the turmoil and the subsequent loss.
