Nokia Corp (NOK) of Finland said Monday that it has received an order from Cosmote to deliver content for the Greek operator's newly launched Mycosmosview games service.
Nokia has provided its Delivery Server solution for the downloading content such as Java and Symbian games and applications to mobile phones through the Mycosmosview service.
Cosmote has launched MYCOSMOSview games service to open the wide world of mobile games to its customers.
Java technology empowers application developers to create games and other exciting applications for mobile devices. Cosmote subscribers are already able to smoothly access more than 50 Java and Symbian games through Mycosmosview games service.
The contract with Nokia follows a successful trialing of the solution. The agreement includes the Nokia Delivery Server system, integration, network performance and maintenance services.
