According to the Electricity Transmission System Operator, Christos Christodoulides, there will be no power outages today.
If there is no any unpredictable damage and no heat conditions occur, there will be no power cuts, as in the past three days, he said.
“People must understand, however, that the problems have not been solved and we reiterate our appeals for an energy saving”, he noted.
“The demand is restricted, it did not exceed 700MW a day and we can respond without any power outages. This is mostly linked to the mild weather conditions and the fact that most people are on vacation”, he concluded.
