Commerce Minister, Antonis Paschalides had a meeting with the new Board of Directors of the Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA) to exchange views on the priorities, the volume of activities and the challenges that the Authority has to face in view of the transfer of natural gas to Cyprus.
According to the CNA, in his statements after the end of the meeting, Mr. Paschalides said that they discussed the challenges that the Authority will face in view of the transfer of natural gas and the reorganization of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus, as well as other energy issues, important for the economy of Cyprus.
New CERA Chairman, Giorgos Siammas said that all impediments are registered and the Authority is ready to deal with the targets that it set.
