MoneyGram International claims a larger share of the €280 million that Cyprus sends on an annual basis to Eastern Europe, the Commonwealth countries and Southeast Asia, with the inclusion of the Post Office of Cyprus in the list of the 186,000 representatives in the world.
MoneyGram International, which is regarded according to its announcement, as one of the biggest companies of money transfer, said that “for the Cypriot Post Office this is a new service to the Cypriot people, while for MoneyGram it is a second representation in the efforts to expand its turnover”.

The Cyprus Post Office, with more than 50 branches nationwide, announced officially the new service via an event held in Nicosia in the presence of Transport Minister, Nicos Nicolaides.
The biggest post office networks – representatives of MoneyGram are those of the United Kingdom, Italy, Ukraine, Canada, Poland and Jamaica, while those of Kenya were recently added to the list.
