Mr. Andreas Moleskis announced today his resignation from his position as Head of the Cyprus EU Presidency Secretariat.

In his announcement, Mr. Moleskis said:

“I visited the President of the Republic, Demetris Christofias and I handed in my resignation from Head of the Cyprus EU Presidency Secretariat.

The President accepted my resignation.

I would like to thank the President of the Republic for the honour to choose me in this position.

Also, I would like to thank all the Ministries and Services as well as my colleagues for the important work that has been done for the preparation of the EU Cyprus Presidency”.
