According to CYSTAT data released on Thursday, tourist arrivals in May recorded an increase of 8.6% to 284,132, eliminating concerns after the sharp drop in tourist arrivals in April. In January-May 2005, tourist arrivals surged 5.6% to 736,265 against 697,053 in the corresponding period of 2004.
