General Manager of the Cooperative Central Bank, Marios Clerides, handed in his resignation on Monday.
According to a CCB announcement, the guardianship of the Cooperative Central Bank proceeds to all necessary actions for a smooth succession of Mr. Clerides.
“We want to thank him warmly for his valuable services rendered to the movement, at a particularly crucial time for the Cooperative Movement and the Cyprus economy, contributing to the successful course of creation, recapitalization and reorganization of the Cooperative Credit Sector in the past 1.5 years”, it is noted.
According to the announcement, “the Cooperatives continue their course, in order to implement our plans for the completion of the creation of a modern European Cooperative which will continue, through the operation of 18 independent credit cooperatives, to provide useful services to members and customers”.
