The Russian petroleum company LUKOIL signed an agreement with BP Cyprus and Exxonmobil Cyprus, acquiring from the two companies 16 petrol stations operating on the island, the CNA reports.
A press release issued by BP-Exxonmobil says that on 20 June 2002, "an agreement was signed between BP Cyprus Ltd and Exxonmobil Cyprus Inc, and the Russian company LUKOIL, according to which LUKOIL will acquire from the other two companies 16 petrol stations, as ordered by the Council of Ministers under a decision on 7 September 2001."
