Four hundred hotel units have declared a lock out from 1.30 to 3.30 on Thursday afternoon, PASIXE Chairman, Avgerinos Nikitas announced a short while ago.
This unexpected development is expected to boost the labour crisis in the sector of hotel industry and hit the Cyprus tourism in great extent.
PASIXE Chairman said that the Labour Minister should have been more careful in his statements, while the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Giorgos Lillikas is currently on a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Association, in an effort to prevent further strikes and lock outs in hotels.
