Cyprus Labour Minister Zeta Emilianides was put in an induced coma following a surgery she underwent in Athens. The Minister suffered a brain aneurysm on Sunday and was urgently transported to the Ygeia Medical Center in Athens.

She was immediately placed in the ICU and underwent a surgery. A medical report says that the aneurysm was blocked via a specialised method and the Minister is now in an induced coma.

She is in critical condition and an assessment will follow the next days.
