Investigation on CSE scandal progresses slowly
11/6/2003 12:43
The second phase of investigation for the CSE scandal is progressing far too slowly, as the unwillingness of the House Audit and Finance Committees to continue the procedure nearly suspended the session on Wednesday.
The session started at 11.30 am. The presence of the KISOS MP, Marinos Sizopoulos, relieved the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Christos Pourgourides, who is decisive to continue the investigation. “The procedure will go on”, said Mr. Pourgourides, replying to all those who have expressed their will to suspend the CSE investigations.
According to sources, Mr. Pourgourides intends to issue a joint announcement of the two Committees that “will put an end to allegations on the suspension of investigations”.
