After using his first term to lure foreign businesses and tourists to accelerate an economic comeback after international bailouts ended and the COVID-19 pandemic began, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said his government is coming to the aid of beleaguered households and businesses.
In his weekly social media post, he said the 2025 state budget – with a big primary surplus and greater tax revenues after cracking down on evasion – will deliver another €1.1 billion ($1.15 billion) in relief measures.
