Passengers having tickets issued by Cyprus Airways, which has entered a liquidation process, will be issued new tickets until by February 28 government said, noting that no tickets will be settled following that date.
An official press release issued today notes that holders of CyAir tickets should apply to the company to verify that their tickets have not been used and then contact any licensed Cypriot Tour Operator to replace the tickets issued by CyAir.
The customers will be served provided that they have not applied for a refund. The release recalls that the Republic of Cyprus has undertaken to pay any additional costs concerning the ticket issuance.
It is noted that the holders should apply for a new ticket by February 28, as no ticket issuance will be possible following that date.
