Chairman of Hermes Joint Venture, Daniel Rigu visited Cyprus on Friday, after latest reports on the procedures that have been followed in the negotiations for the new airports, StockWatch sources revealed on Monday. Mr. Rigu arrived with his private jet and had a meeting with the Transport Minister, Haris Thrasou.
Last Thursday, the domestic market management in Brussels received a new indictment by Cybarco, which followed that of J&P.
Sources reveal that the French tycoon of Hermes demanded by the Minister to be briefed fully on the latest developments and asked whether there is possibility for a collapse in the procedures, since this would hit the joint venture and Cyprus would keep the second-class airports.
It is worth noting that Mr. Thrasou rejected Alterra’s request for the suspension of the government’s negotiations with Hermes.
