Hermes Airports: January - A good month for Cyprus passenger traffic

Hermes Airports Ltd recorded a good month for passenger traffic in January 2008. During the last month, over 270,000 passengers travelled through the two Airports of Cyprus, a 2.59% increase on January 2007. At Larnaka International Airport, passenger traffic increased by 3.58% on January 2007, with nearly 224,000 passengers. At Pafos International Airport, the recorded passenger traffic was more than 55.000.
Henry de la Monneraye, Acting Chief Executive Officer for Hermes Airports Ltd, commented: “It’s a positive start for the new year and we are hoping to observe a better increase in traffic growth. Hermes Airports Ltd is looking forward to offer travellers higher level of services with the opening of our new terminals at both Pafos and Larnaka in 2008 and 2009, respectively”.
