A total 16 flights will be affected in Cyprus by the volcanic ash cloud today.
According to Hermes Airports, 9 flights will be affected at the Larnaca International Airport, all departures to Heathrow, Warsaw, Stansted, Amsterdam, Brussels, Manchester, Bergen and Paris.
At the Paphos International Airport, the total number of flights that will be affected are 7, 5 departures to Amsterdam, Stansted, Heathrow and Gatwick and 2 arrivals.
Since April 15, the total number of flights that were halted is 320.
“It is clarified that those figures concern the flights that have been affected generally and not necessarily those that have been cancelled. We reiterate our appeal to the travelers to contact their tourist agents in order to confirm the time of their flight”, Hermes concluded.
