Health Minister, Constantina Akkelidou submitted her resignation on Friday after the Nicosia District Court found her guilty of interfering with the course of justice.
As the CNA reports, Cyprus President, Tassos Papadopoulos accepted the resignation. Judge, Nikolaos Sandis, said that the prosecution had proved “beyond any reasonable doubt” that Mrs. Akkelidou was guilty.
