HB offers €50k to fire-stricken areas in Greece

Hellenic Bank management decided to offer the sum of €500 thousand for the relief of those who have been stricken by the wildfires in Greece. At a meeting between Hellenic Bank Chairman, Andreas Panayiotou and CEO, Makis Karevanos, with the President of the Republic, Tassos Papadopoulos in the Presidential Palace, the bank submitted a cheque of £500 thousand.

According to an announcement, within the framework of its social offer and participating in the effort for the relief of the fire-stricken areas of Peloponnese and Evia, the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank decided on August 29 to offer this sum.

Mr. Panayiotou told President Papadopoulos that this sum will contribute to the reconstruction of a second community and will enable people to stay in their areas and start their lives again. Mr. Panayiotou expressed his wish to use this sum for the reconstruction of a school.

Aristo Developers

Aristo Developers also offered the sum of €350 thousand to the relief fund.
