Greece's consumer price index rose 3.3% on the year in September, unchanged from August, the National Statistics Service said Monday.

A fall in the price of telecom services helped offset a hike in fresh fruit and potato prices.

On a month-on-month basis, CPI rose 1.9% in September, fueled by a 12.6% rise in clothes and footwear prices.

Publication of CPI data for September was delayed by a strike of National Statistics Service employees.

Dates for the publication of October and November CPI figures have yet to be released.
