Despite bureaucratic obstacles and the country’s notorious red tape, Greece is poised to become a hub for cloud centers and international high-technology giants and investors, with plans for a €1 billion ($1.09 billion) multi-facility.
The investment group of London’s Dromeus Capital and New York’s PIMCO’s Apto aims to build it in Spata, near Athens International Airport and close to where Microsoft—after waiting four years for a license—is creating a similar facility.
