Greek households and businesses faced with a new round of rising electric bills will get some relief from the state which is offering smaller subsidies this time, 1.5 cents per kilowatt hour.
That is for household consumption up to 500 kilowatt hours for December and comes after the New Democracy government earlier spent almost 10 billion euros ($10.58 billion) in subsidies from 2021-23, said Reuters.
