The Ministerial Committee for the Development of Golf Courts in Cyprus reaffirmed during its meeting yesterday the government’s decision to promote the construction of 14 golf courts in several areas across Cyprus.
According to an official announcement, the meeting, which was chaired by Commerce Minister, Antonis Paschalides, was attended by Interior Minister, Neoclis Silikiotis, Communications and Works Minister, Erato Kozakou-Marcoulli, Agriculture Minister, Demetris Eliades and General Managers and technocrats from various Departments and Services.
The meeting also examined the applications that have bee submitted for golf courts.
At the same time, it decided to send instructions to the applicants once again so that they adopt their commitments stemming from the provisions of the Council of Ministers’ decisions the soonest possible and concern urban planning, water supply and other relevant criteria.
