“The government accepted the positions of the UN Secretariat and the Security Council with regard to the July 8 agreement”, acting government Spokesman, Vassilis Palmas stated on Friday.

As the CNA reports, Mr. Palmas said that the statements of UN Secretary General’s Special Representative in Cyprus, Michael Moller, that the process started on July 8 is alive, expressed the positions of the UN Secretariat and Security Council. “We adopt these positions too and that is why we are trying to create movement around the Cyprus problem”, he concluded.
