According to CYSTAT data released on Friday, the sale of fuel products from gas stations in April 2006 recorded an increase of 3.2% to 53.3 thousand tons against 51.6 thousand in the corresponding month of 2005.
Similarly, in January-April 2006, the sale of fuel products from gas stations increased slightly (0.4%) compared to the corresponding period of 2005.
Total fuel sales in April dropped 1.9% to 120.8 thousand tons against 123.2 thousand tons in April 2005, while total fuel sales in January-April 2006 surged 1.4% to 521.9 thousand tons against 514.8 thousand tons.
