The Engineering School and the Center of Banking and Finance at the University of Cyprus, in collaboration with Renaissance Capital (www.renaissancegroup.com), organize a public lecture and discussion on “Fiscal Policy on Oil and Gas Resources in Israel”.
The key speaker will be Professor Eytan Sheshinski, who, in April 2010, was appointed by the Israeli Ministry of Finance to chair a committee to study the topic and offer policy recommendations. The final report was given to the public on January 3rd 2011 and can be found here:

The event will take place on January 23rd at 6.00pm in room B108 in the Senate Building Anastasios Leventis at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia.
The main lecture will be introduced by the General Manager of Renaissance Capital in Cyprus Mr Marios Hadjiyiannakis and the Dean of the Engineering School Mr Panos Papanastasiou. The discussion will be directed by Mr Alexander Michaelides, Professor and Director of the Center of Banking and Finance at the University of Cyprus.
