The final solution for the new e-Justice system is expected in February 2024, Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Philippos Hadjizacharias, said in a statement, noting that this is an important step towards the digital transformation of Cyprus.
Hadjizacharias said that the pilot operation for the country's new e-Justice system will be launched on December 18, 2023, while its final solution is expected in February 2024.
He referred to the work carried out, in consultation with the Bar Association and the Supreme Court, to deliver to both citizens and lawyers an easy-to-use and efficient justice system, “which will provide everything they need to carry out their work”, digitally.
Hadjizacharias said that this was a standing request of the Bar Association, and “an important step towards the digital transformation of Cyprus”. He added that problems were likely to arise since every new transitional beginning was difficult, assuring that the Deputy Ministry was ready to provide any solution required.
“Our goal is to eliminate bureaucracy and provide the government system with easy-to-use digital services”, Hadjizacharias said.
